Choose to Reuse NJ Highlighted at NJ League of Municipalities Conference

Linda Doherty, president & CEO of the New Jersey Food Council, outlined the Choose to Reuse NJ campaign at the annual New Jersey League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic City on Nov. 19. Doherty joined a panel to discuss statewide litter abatement efforts, sponsored by the New Jersey Clean Communities Council.

Doherty discussed the goals of the campaign, which is a joint project between the New Jersey Food Council and the New Jersey Clean Communities Council, of which she serves as vice chair. Doherty also showed the Choose to Reuse NJ website, as well as radio and television ads, to help spread the important message of bringing you own bag to the store.
